Job Title: Executive Housekeeper

We are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Travelodge Golden. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain a high level of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of our facilities.
  • Coordinate inspection of assigned areas to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Coordinate contract services to ensure that all necessary cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals of housekeeping staff to ensure they are meeting the required standards.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that all necessary items are available.
  • Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure that all laundry is completed to a high standard.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out at all times.
  • Hire and dismiss staff as necessary to ensure that the housekeeping department is adequately staffed.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
