Job Title: Welder Fabricator

Groupe Fabmec ou Fabmec is seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team. As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal parts and products using various techniques and equipment.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to work in a dusty and noisy environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
  • Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using previously set-up welding machines
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Requirements
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation
