Job Title: Welder Fabricator

Groupe Fabmec ou Fabmec is seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team. As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal parts and products in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Work Environment

Our work environment is dusty and noisy, with a focus on industrial manufacturing. You will be working with a variety of materials, including aluminum alloys, steel, iron, and heavy metals.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
  • Fabricate and repair metal parts and products using welding, brazing, and soldering techniques
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Requirements
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
