At TACO TIME, we're seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our bookkeeping systems. Your tasks will include calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, and reconciling accounts. If you have a strong background in bookkeeping and are looking for a challenging role, we encourage you to apply.

**Requirements:**

* College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
* 1 to less than 7 months of experience
* or equivalent experience

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
* Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
* Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
* Post journal entries
* Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
* Prepare trial balance of books
* Reconcile accounts

**Work Environment:**

* Work Term: Permanent
* Work Language: English
* Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
