At Banque Scotia, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Planner to join our team in Gatineau. As a Financial Planner, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals and objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses for assigned clients, including retirement planning, wealth management, and estate planning, using advanced financial planning tools and techniques.
  • Provide expert financial advice to clients on investment and retirement planning strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and goals, and providing tailored financial solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory requirements to provide informed financial guidance to clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and partners to deliver exceptional client service and achieve business objectives.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in financial planning and investment sales is an asset.
  • Hold or be working towards obtaining the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
  • Be a certified investment professional with a current accreditation and in good standing with the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA).
  • Be a self-motivated and results-driven individual with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Have a strong understanding of market offerings, trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Be fluent in both English and French, as per the Bank's language requirements.
