The Sales Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales team by managing month-end reports, notifying about rate increases, and facilitating tender submissions. Additionally, this position involves generating and analyzing strategic reports that pertain to fleet performance, dock efficiency, and delivery effectiveness, while also identifying areas for improvement through careful measurement and analysis. Key responsibilities include:

Assess sales and quotation reports to identify trends, growth opportunities, and potential issues, presenting findings to the Sales Team. Prepare rate requests, advancing them to the proposal stage and ensuring timely follow-up. Conduct after-sales service calls and development outreach to specific customers as necessary. Engage in prospecting calls to identify potential new clients. Monitor sales activities and compile monthly sales reports. Relay customer needs and requests to operations and administration, ensuring resolution when necessary.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess post-secondary education in fields such as commerce, business administration, or logistics. A solid understanding of sales operations and/or the LTL trucking industry is essential. Strong administrative capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, are required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A positive and enthusiastic demeanor is crucial when interacting with both potential and existing customers. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision are necessary.
