About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their homes, enabling them to live safely and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
  • Offer companionship and social support to clients, engaging in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being
  • Monitor and report any changes or concerns related to client health or safety to the supervisor
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and support

Requirements:

  • Compassion and empathy for individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Previous experience in a care-related role is an asset
