About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at JVR Landscape (2006) INC. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients' properties are well-maintained and looking their best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a neat and tidy appearance
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn care tasks to ensure a lush and healthy lawn
  • Rake and collect refuse, removing litter and garbage from the work site
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed
  • Lay sod or seed to repair damaged areas
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to perform tasks efficiently
Work Environment

As a Landscape Labourer, you will be working outdoors in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial properties. You will be required to work in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and dependability
