Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional results, and we're looking for a talented Associate Director to join our Client Operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with investment managers, vendors, and auditors to resolve day-to-day operational issues.
- Prepare and review client financial reporting deliverables and associated reports as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all internal and external deliverables are met.
- Develop and improve financial reporting processes and procedures.
- Assist with department resource planning and staff allocation.
- Attend pitches, client due diligence meetings, and board/client meetings as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and audit firms.
- Continuously improve the core roles of the team, including financial statement workings/reports.
- Develop an understanding of the financial reporting process and assist in creating the target operating model for clients.
- Ensure timely invoicing and fee collection.
- Adhere to operational procedures and controls, and complete relevant checklists, trackers, planners, and desktop notes.
- Stay up-to-date with applicable accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Manage direct reports, assist in training, and participate in performance reviews.
- Monitor and manage reporting deadlines for services/clients.
- Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, mathematics, or related fields.
- Professional qualification in ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or CFA.
- Demonstrated experience in a financial reporting role.
