About the Job:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with the Interior Health Authority, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to perform assessments and develop care plans for patients. Your responsibilities will include providing personal and nursing care to patients, administering medications as per pharmaceutical and organizational policies, and adhering to the scope of practice outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).


The LPN will operate within the standards of practice and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. This is a casual opportunity, which means hours are not guaranteed and may vary, and shifts may be at short notice. However, casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.
