About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Penticton Regional Hospital. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments and develop care plans for patients in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Administer medications and provide personal care to patients
  • Work in accordance with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) standards and organizational policies
About the Unit

The 4th Floor of the David E. Kampe Tower is a busy surgical unit with 28 beds, providing pre and post-surgical care for orthopaedics, urology, and general surgery patients. You will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, including allied health professionals and transition liaison nurses.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses
  • Current full practicing licensure with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Current CPR certification
