We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at Newtech Renovation Inc. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to create smooth surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to create smooth surfaces
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to create a smooth finish
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in drywall installation
  • Permanent employment
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
