Veterinary Technologist Opportunity at Admirals Walk Pet Clinic

Job Summary:
Admirals Walk Pet Clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with clients and veterinary care team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Administer and analyze diagnostic tests, including hematology, clinical chemistry, cytology, and urinalysis.
- Assist veterinarians with surgical and therapeutic procedures, adhering to aseptic standards and protocols.
- Administer and monitor anesthesia and analgesia, following veterinary scope of practice and provincial laws.
- Provide high-quality veterinary nursing care, synthesizing veterinary theory, principles, and concepts.
- Document and maintain accurate veterinary medical records, adhering to regulated procedures and standards.
- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art veterinary medical equipment, ensuring health and safety regulations are met.
- Execute and evaluate quality diagnostic images, utilizing knowledge of theory, principles, and concepts.
- Perform dental procedures, adhering to professional veterinary industry standards.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain an appropriate inventory of medical supplies, adhering to veterinary office inventory control procedures.
- Support a collaborative work environment and assist other staff members as needed.
