Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Smokin Samosa. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and supervise the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and hire food service staff.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
As a Shift Manager at Smokin Samosa, you will work in a fast-paced food service environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. You will also be required to bend, crouch, and kneel.
