POSITION SUMMARY

The Culinary Specialist is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving meals according to established menus, standardized recipes, and production control standards. This role involves washing, peeling, and chopping fruits and vegetables. The Culinary Specialist ensures that high-quality products and services are delivered while adhering to portion control and presentation guidelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Certifications

A college diploma, certificate, or apprenticeship in hospitality, food service management, or a related discipline, along with relevant experience in the hospitality or food and beverage sector.

(Alternatively, a high school diploma with several years of experience in the food service industry or a related hospitality field.)

Food Handling Certification, as applicable.

Experience

Experience in commercial food service environments.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
