Job Title: Co-op Analog Design Engineer

Join Renesas Electronics, a leading global provider of microcontrollers, as a Co-op Analog Design Engineer. In this role, you will contribute to the development of Renesas' flagship Optical Interconnects products, focusing on the design and characterization of broadband linear Drivers and TIAs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize analog circuits using Cadence design tools
  • Conduct extensive lab work to test and characterize analog circuits
  • Develop Python scripts for automation and data analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Working towards a M.A.Sc. / PhD student in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with BiCMOS and CMOS technology
  • Proficiency in Cadence/ADS and related EDA tools
  • Experience with EM modeling and lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and function generators
  • Familiarity with Python programming
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
