Role Overview
As the next Research & Insights Analyst at ATB, you will play a crucial role within the business insights team of ATB Advisory Services. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough research on market trends and competitive dynamics, extracting key insights from complex datasets, and transforming your findings into clear, actionable insights that drive business performance and strategic development.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive market and competitor analysis; establish and maintain a portfolio of information sources while identifying new connections.
- Analyze both internal and external datasets to gain a deep understanding of client experiences and identify areas for enhancement.
- Simplify complex qualitative and quantitative insights into clear, actionable narratives, reports, and dashboards tailored for diverse audiences.
- Ensure the accuracy of research and data findings through cross-referencing, delivering consistently high-quality and error-free outputs.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in analytical and strategic roles to drive impactful business outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
- A university degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- Proven research skills; adept at swiftly identifying relevant and credible sources to assess industry trends and opportunities/challenges.
- Experience working with both quantitative and qualitative datasets to extract insights and formulate recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including effective storytelling.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively with minimal oversight.
- Strong personal accountability for delivering exceptional results and integrating feedback into future work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Looker is a plus.
