About the Role
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Dietary Aide to join the Food Services team at the Heiltsuk Hospital in Bella Bella, BC.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of duties within a food service operation, including portioning and serving meals, washing and peeling vegetables and fruit, preparing items such as tea, coffee and toast, and washing dishes and utensils.
- Work effectively in a team environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control and food safety standards.
About the Team
The Heiltsuk Hospital is a 14-bed hospital located on the traditional territories of the Heiltsuk Nation. The hospital provides a range of medical services, including emergency care, laboratory and diagnostic imaging services, and specialty clinics.
