We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse operations by scheduling tasks, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring performance to achieve operational objectives.
- Recruit, interview, and train new employees to maintain optimal staffing levels.
- Guide and mentor warehouse personnel, assessing their performance and setting goals for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures among all warehouse staff.
- Coordinate logistics for timely product delivery to customers by managing driver dispatch.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a warehouse setting is necessary.
- At least two years of experience in a management role within a warehouse environment is essential.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on meeting the needs of both internal and external clients.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning new software systems.
- Experience in inventory management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with parts cataloguing and barcode systems is a plus.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of heavy-duty parts is an asset.
