Sports Betting Operations Specialist

theScoreBet's Risk and Trading Operations team is responsible for ensuring the risk and trading department consistently delivers operational excellence. This team is critical in troubleshooting and escalating issues on all operational sports betting platforms.
About the Work- Daily Review of Odds Boosts and Specials: Conduct a thorough review of odds boosts and specials to ensure accuracy and fairness.
- Game Lines and Sub-Markets Review: Review all game lines and sub-markets associated with daily events to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Futures Markets Review: Regularly review all futures markets to ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
- In-Play Markets Monitoring: Monitor in-play markets for all live events to ensure timely and accurate updates.
- Rich Data Monitoring: Monitor rich data for all pre-game and live events to ensure accuracy and fairness.
- Triage Production Issues: Triage production issues related to risk and trading and rich data, and escalate to appropriate teams.
- Market Development: Work with trading, compliance, and marketing teams to add new markets.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
- Post-Secondary Degree: Hold a post-secondary degree or equivalent work experience.
- Customer Service Experience: Have experience in customer service.
- Sports Knowledge: Have extensive sports knowledge, particularly with regards to the four major professional sports leagues.
- Communication Skills: Possess clear and effective communication skills.
- Computer Savviness: Be computer savvy.
- Device Experience: Have experience using iPhone and Android devices on a daily basis.
- Esports Knowledge: Knowledge of esports is considered an asset.
- Availability: Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on planned schedule.
