Position: Senior Infrastructure Engineer
The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Senior Infrastructure Engineer within the Asset Management team. This position is essential for overseeing the Facility Condition Assessment Program, which plays a critical role in the long-term planning and renewal of public facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers and technologists in the development and maintenance of the Facility Condition Assessment Program.
- Manage client and consultant relationships effectively.
- Oversee the creation and evaluation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and contracts.
- Establish standards and frameworks for quality control of assessment reports.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. A professional designation with APEGS or experience in project management is advantageous. All engineering disciplines are welcome, including Civil, Environmental, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Industrial Systems, Electrical, or Electronics Systems Engineering.
Skills:
- Knowledge of project management and consultant management.
- Familiarity with assessment software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly and courteously.
