About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our team in developing digital products for our Canadian distributors. As a Product Owner, you will play a key role in defining the product vision and strategy, working closely with internal and external engineering teams to deliver value to our customers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with stakeholders to define product vision and strategy
  • Follow up with stakeholders on a need basis
  • Responsible for business aspects of the project, including ensuring the right product is built in the right order and released by deadlines
  • Lead, plan, track, and be accountable for all phases of the product life cycle
  • Responsible for product evolution and technical debt
  • Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes or resource additions
  • Ensure business objectives and targets are met through data analytics and feedback
  • Determine product KPIs, objectives, and measurements
  • May be responsible for feasibility studies, field trials management, identifying product gaps, defining product requirements, and engaging with customers to understand market needs and trends
  • Build and define a vision and long-term roadmap for the products in accordance with business and user needs and market trends
Requirements
  • Domain expertise with brokerage technology is a strong asset but not essential
  • Domain expertise in the Personal Lines or Commercial Lines is also a strong asset
  • College or bachelor's degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Experience as a Product Owner
  • Experience as a Scrum Master a plus
  • Strong experience dealing with external vendors and supply chain
  • A leader, able to foster a positive working environment without direct reports
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent communication skills, succinct
  • Fast learner, autonomous, and creative
  • Able to work in a team and share ideas
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with the Atlassian Suite
  • Good understanding of Adobe Analytics is a strong asset
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
