About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Royal Spice. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing
    • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
    • Ensure all dishes, glasses, and utensils are washed and sanitized
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
    • Operate dishwashers and other kitchen equipment
    • Prepare and serve food to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive and store supplies, including food, cleaning products, and paper goods
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and resolving issues
    • Ensure all customer interactions are friendly, courteous, and professional
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment an asset
  • Skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Work Environment

As a Kitchen Assistant at Royal Spice, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment.
