At IMP Group, we're seeking a skilled NDT Technician to join our team. As a key member of our aviation services group, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate and operate NDT equipment, including magnetic particle, x-ray, and ultrasonic machines, to perform tests on aircraft parts.
  • Examine surface-treated materials to locate and identify cracks or defects using black light.
  • Evaluate test results against designated standards, utilizing knowledge of metals and testing experience.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and conclusions.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of aviation NDT experience.
  • Solid experience in Ultrasonic (Level 2 preferred) and Eddy Current Level 2 testing.
  • Other NDT methods (Level 2) an asset.
  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours.
