We are actively seeking Operational Consultants / Senior Operational Consultants with relevant experience to assist our clients in achieving performance levels that yield results efficiently and effectively. Candidates with backgrounds in Mining, Natural Resources, and Engineering are highly desirable. Global travel may be required.
Responsibilities of the Operational Consultant / Senior Operational Consultant:
- Deliver the specified outcomes to the client; this embodies the Proudfoot value proposition.
- Conduct thorough analyses of process plants, systems, organizational functions, and structures through interviews, observations, data, and statistical analysis techniques to identify opportunities for measurable improvements.
- Educate client personnel in the proficient use of management systems, tools, techniques, group problem-solving, and skills for team building and consensus development.
- Organize and facilitate meetings and one-on-one interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Generate written and oral feedback, presentation materials, critiques, systems documentation, process descriptions, evaluations, data summaries, and reports.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with business performance enhancement, reengineering, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills with a focus on results.
- Experience in Industrials, Mining, Natural Resources, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering is advantageous.
- Background in maintenance within the Natural Resource, Oil & Gas, and Industrial sectors is preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Capability to coach and influence client teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Must be based in and legally permitted to work in Canada.
