We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2582099 Ontario Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and supervise the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and maintain a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, and support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a food service environment, with a focus on supervision and coordination.
- Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
