Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at BFM (Cranbrook) Enterprises Society. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the store, including managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, manage merchandise, and maintain visual merchandising standards.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and management team members, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Financial Management: Manage store finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure accurate inventory reporting.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure store environment, including maintaining a clean and organized store, and adhering to company security protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of retail management experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a criminal record check.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting. The ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
