Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at MARAR ORCHARDS FRUIT STAND, PRODUCE & ASIAN GROCERY STORE. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and stored.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Store Operations: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained, meeting health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience or equivalent.
  • Work Setting: Supermarket/grocery store environment.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people or 5-10 people.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, organized, and a team player.
What We Offer
  • Permanent Full-Time Position: 30 to 40 hours per week.
