Role Overview

The North America Communications Team is pivotal in showcasing Lenovo's products and services through compelling narratives and strategic engagement across various channels, including public relations, internal communications, and social media.

We seek a communications expert who thrives on innovation and can elevate brand storytelling within the North American market. This role is crucial in enhancing Lenovo's corporate image and positioning our executives as thought leaders in technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead public relations efforts for significant campaigns within the North American market.
  2. Oversee press events, brand narratives, and content development across business sectors.
  3. Collaborate with PR agencies to devise media strategies and coordinate executive media interactions.
  4. Utilize performance tracking tools to assess PR campaign effectiveness and report findings to senior management.
  5. Manage the communications team's budget and operational tasks.
  6. Provide updates during marketing interlock meetings and other necessary communications.
  7. Enhance Lenovo's brand reputation across its comprehensive technology portfolio.
  8. Advise business leaders on effective media communication strategies.
  9. Ensure consistent storytelling across different regions by collaborating with communications teams.
  10. Work alongside marketing teams to create customer-focused narratives around products.
  11. Contribute to content for major corporate events and meetings.
  12. Align with social media and community engagement teams to maintain cohesive messaging.
  13. Monitor and report on performance metrics against established KPIs.
Basic Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, public relations, or journalism.
  3. Experience in the technology sector is essential.
  4. Prior experience supporting communications for senior executives is required.
  5. Strong writing abilities with samples to be provided upon application.
