Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage data entry, ensuring accuracy in recording financial transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Prepare and record journal entries, contributing to the reliability of our financial records.
  • Manage the distribution of invoices and oversee accounts receivable to ensure timely payments.
  • Assist with the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and maintain data integrity.
  • Monitor and report on budget variances.
  • Support the company's compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Proven experience in financial operations, including data entry, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Previous experience working with engineers or other professional services providers is an asset.
  • Familiarity with relevant software, such as Microsoft Office 365, Unanet ERP, and Adobe suite, is also an asset.
  • An ability to work independently and collaboratively with our teams.
