Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Mechanic to join our team at ORCA Global Express Ltd. As a Diesel Engine Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect diesel engines to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Service attachments and working tools
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
  • Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing
  • Perform other routine maintenance tasks
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Work Environment

The work site environment is dusty and noisy.
