About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient food preparation and serving process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Inventory Management: Stock refrigerators and salad bars, receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
  • Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads, physically demanding tasks, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
