About the Role

As a key member of Mark's design team, you will be responsible for driving the creative process of our menswear collections from concept to final product. You will work closely with our Senior Designer and other teams to ensure that our designs meet customer needs and align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop original and relevant designs that meet market demands and increase sales
  • Generate line sheets, CADs, technical sketches, and development packages
  • Approve strike-offs, lab dips, and trims from initial design to production
  • Collaborate with Technical Design, Product Development, and Purchasing teams to ensure product meets customer needs and company goals
  • Research and identify trends, new fabrications, techniques in graphics, printing, and dyeing methods
  • Participate in fittings with knowledge of construction, fit, and fabrications of knits and wovens
  • Be proficient in NedGraphics to create woven patterns
  • Work as a self-starter and in a team environment, maintaining calendar deadlines and being detail-oriented

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years design experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Demonstrated strong proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office
  • Experience in PLM
  • Strong sense of color, print, and pattern development within the brand aesthetic
  • Strong understanding of full cycle of design development process from concept to commercialization
