Role Overview

As a key member of the executive management team, the Chief Product Officer will lead the product management division and oversee the innovation and development of our wealth management software offerings.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the entire product lifecycle, including existing and new product development.
  • Analyze market trends, user requirements, and competitive insights to formulate a clear product vision.
  • Translate this vision into a comprehensive product strategy, defining goals, features, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee research and concept development to innovate new products, enhancements, and redesigns.
  • Engage with clients and prospects to identify new market opportunities, articulate value propositions, and define product requirements.
  • Contribute to the versatility of our products and expand our commercial offerings.
  • Ensure alignment between product structure and software engineering practices.
  • Monitor product performance post-launch and implement improvements based on user feedback.

Leadership and Team Management

The Chief Product Officer will:

  • Develop, mentor, and lead the product management team to foster innovation and excellence.
  • Manage budgets, analyze forecasts, and oversee resource allocation.
  • Possess knowledge of FinTech within a B2B banking context (strong asset).
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of Agile and DevOps product development methodologies.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities in product development and team management within a growth-oriented environment.
  • Showcase exceptional problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills.
  • Be bilingual in French and English, with proficiency in a third language being an asset.
  • Have a solid understanding of financial markets, particularly in securities and asset management (asset).

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A university degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in software product development.
  • A proven track record in creating and driving product pipeline opportunities.
