Key Responsibilities- Deploy and Manage XDR Solutions: Install, configure, and maintain Palo Alto XDR platform, ensuring proper setup and integration with existing security infrastructure.
- Monitor and Analyze Security Events: Monitor XDR platform for security events, including threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalous activities, and analyze data and alerts to identify potential security incidents.
- Incident Response and Investigation: Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents, taking appropriate actions to mitigate impact, identifying root cause, and conducting thorough investigation to prevent similar incidents.
- Threat Hunting and Intelligence: Engage in threat hunting activities, proactively looking for signs of malicious activity or potential vulnerabilities within the network, and stay up-to-date with latest security threats and intelligence.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other teams, such as network security, system administrators, and Security Operations Center (SOC), to ensure smooth integration and effective incident response, and effectively communicate detected threats or incidents to stakeholders.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of configurations, incidents, investigations, and other relevant information, and prepare and present regular reports on security events, incidents, and system performance to management.
- Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of XDR platform and related security processes, evaluating new features and updates, implementing best practices, and providing feedback to vendor for product improvement.
