About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Security Engineer to join our team at Cyber Crime. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our applications and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application Security Reviews: Conduct thorough security reviews of our applications to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Secure Architecture Design: Design and implement secure architecture for our applications and services, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance.
  • Threat Modeling: Develop and maintain threat models to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Security Training and Outreach: Provide training and guidance to internal development teams on security best practices and ensure they are aware of security risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Security Tool Development: Develop and maintain security tools to automate and streamline security processes.
  • Security Metrics Delivery: Deliver security metrics to stakeholders and work on improving the overall security posture of the organization.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of programming experience in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java,.Net, C++ or similar object-oriented language.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as DNS and TCP/IP.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration and network security.
  • Experience with AWS products and services.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++.
