Position Overview
As a skilled Laboratory Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, documenting, and executing comprehensive project plans to facilitate the implementation of advanced diagnostic solutions in laboratory settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead the execution of strategic project plans for large-scale diagnostic system implementations.
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to gather resources, outline work plans, and assign responsibilities.
- Oversee the project lifecycle, ensuring effective communication and coordination among all parties involved.
- Conduct various project review meetings, including pre-purchase and post-implementation assessments.
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers to foster professional growth within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the diagnostics industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management certification (PMP) and familiarity with cloud-based project management tools.
- Experience in clinical laboratory operations and stakeholder management.
Additional Information
This position requires approximately 30% travel across the country, and candidates should reside within proximity to a major airport. The expected salary range for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
