Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker

BLT Installations LTD is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fit and join sheet metal parts
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
  • Operate forklift
  • Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
  • Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment
  • Clean work area
  • Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods
  • Install sheet metal flashings
Requirements:
  • Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own vehicle
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Safety glasses/goggles
  • Gloves
  • Hard hat
  • Safety equipment/gear
  • Safety vest
Work Environment:

The work environment is physically demanding, with frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads. The work site is noisy, dusty, and may involve confined spaces and all weather conditions.
