GHD is a global professional services company that helps our clients build a better world. We're seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in a key role that will drive the success of our Conveyance projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Business Lead and Managers, Project Directors to deliver civil design for linear infrastructure projects
  • Coordinate all aspects of the civil design, including design development and implementation
  • Develop or verify the technical scope of a project, ensuring it meets client requirements and specifications
  • Complete civil designs within budget and schedule, ensuring quality control processes are followed
  • Participate in design coordination meetings and address critical issues
  • Work closely with the engineering group to facilitate decision making related to the civil design
  • Ensure the client's requirements, including specifications and standards, are integrated into the project
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices
  • Represent GHD at Client meetings when required, providing expert advice and guidance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years' extensive technical design experience, with a focus on civil design delivery for larger, multi-discipline projects
  • Demonstrable experience in civil design delivery for linear infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of local Agency Codes and Standards
  • Experience working in a Design Build environment, with a detailed understanding of integrated 3D environments
  • Team building and mentoring skills, with a proven track record of developing and leading high-performing teams
