Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Dawson Creek Husky. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign Sales Tasks: Effectively allocate sales tasks to our sales team members to ensure maximum productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop our sales team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Merchandise Management: Authorize returns, establish work schedules, and manage inventory levels to maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing sales floor.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints, requests, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales team members to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash and maintain accurate records to prevent discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, team player, and willing to train.
Work Conditions:
  • Hours of Work: 30 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
  • Duration: Permanent.
