Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they meet our high standards.
- Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food products meet our quality and safety standards, and that our kitchen and dining areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Training and Development: Train and develop food service staff, providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and labor costs.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
- Accessibility: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Newcomers and Refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Youth: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Indigenous People: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Mature Workers: Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination.
- Visible Minorities: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
