Position Overview

As a Personal Care Assistant at SORIE ROSENBLATT, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of supportive tasks aimed at promoting independence and well-being.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Work Environment
  • Non-smoking environment.
  • Optional live-in accommodation available at no cost, though this is not a condition of employment.
  • Work will primarily take place in the client's home.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks.
  • Encourage and assist clients in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to client needs.
  • Cook meals as required.
Target Audience

This position primarily focuses on providing care for the elderly.

Security and Safety

A criminal record check will be required as part of the hiring process.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees

Assistance will be provided for the immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, and other essential services.
