Job Summary:
The Flexographic Printing Specialist will report to the Production Supervisor and be responsible for producing labels that meet work orders, label dockets, and proofs. The specialist will be accountable for printing quality, efficiency, and safety in their work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce labels that meet customer specifications and quality standards
- Operate flexographic presses to print labels with high accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure label quality and consistency
- Collaborate with the production team to meet production deadlines and targets
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on flexographic presses
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in flexographic printing
- Extensive knowledge of flexographic printing processes, including Delam, Relam, Cold Foil, Peel and Seal, Turn bar, Die Cutting, and Matrix Rewinding
- Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving on Mark Andy presses with UV and water-based ink
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Good English language skills to follow work orders and production instructions
- Good vision for color differentiation and inspection of labels
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for 8 hours in a shift
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekend shifts as required
