Senior Tax Manager

Baker Tilly SNT, a locally owned full-service CPA firm in Northern Ontario, is seeking a Senior Tax Manager or Principal to join our team.
We are a unique firm, structured to provide local partner leadership and accountability supported by national and international resources.
Our team of over 100 staff serves diverse clients in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors, including mining, construction, manufacturing, forestry, retail, and wholesale trades, professionals, and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with partners, managers, and senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory engagements.
- Deliver high-quality tax planning, services, and advice.
- Provide support, coaching, and professional development to firm staff on tax knowledge and tax matters.
- Prepare and present technical sessions to firm staff.
- A minimum of 10 years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty.
- Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).
- Successful completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Masters of Tax Program.
- Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- High proficiency in MS Office, Caseware/Casview, TaxPrep, and tax research software.
- Proven project management and time management skills to organize, implement, and execute projects.
- Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
