Senior Tax Manager

Baker Tilly SNT, a locally owned full-service CPA firm in Northern Ontario, is seeking a Senior Tax Manager or Principal to join our team. As a key member of our tax team, you will work closely with partners, managers, and other senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory engagements.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality tax planning, services, and advice to clients
- Provide support, coaching, and professional development to firm staff on tax knowledge and tax matters
- Prepare and present technical sessions to firm staff
- Minimum 10 years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty
- Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA)
- Successful completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Masters of Tax Program
- Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, project management, and organizational skills
- High proficiency in MS Office, Caseware/Casview, TaxPrep, and tax research software
- Proven project management and time management skills to organize, implement, and execute projects
- Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
