Key Responsibilities- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring they are sanitized and ready for use.
- Wash and sanitize dishes and other items by hand, using the correct cleaning solutions and techniques.
- Scour pots and pans to remove food residue and stains, maintaining a spotless kitchen.
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as soups, salads, and snacks, to meet the needs of our customers.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring they are easily accessible and organized.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure they are in good condition and ready for use.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, preparing them for use in our kitchen.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience an asset, but not required.
- Permanent employment opportunity.
- English language proficiency.
- Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
