About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and organized Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Ricky All Day Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train kitchen staff and helpers on preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Dependability, organized, and reliability.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
