Job Overview

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of settings, including apartment complexes and condominiums, ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing common areas.
  • Utilize industrial vacuum cleaners to effectively remove debris and refuse.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying trash receptacles regularly.
  • Ensure windows, walls, and ceilings are washed and well-maintained.
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems, coordinating with professionals for major issues.
  • Advertise available units and conduct showings for prospective tenants.
  • Conduct safety and security inspections throughout the property.
  • Assist with the maintenance of gardens and landscaping.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A secondary school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in cleaning and property management is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Dependability and reliability in all tasks.
Work Conditions

This role requires the ability to:

  • Work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Perform physically demanding duties, including bending and lifting.
  • Handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
