About the Role

Cross Creek Contracting Inc is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic tiles on walls and floors, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces to be tiled, including measuring and marking walls and floors
  • Mix and apply adhesives, such as mortar and cement, to secure tiles in place
  • Set tiles in place, ensuring proper alignment and spacing
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
  • Estimate costs and materials for tile installations
