Role Overview

The Senior Manager, PMO and Strategic Initiatives plays a pivotal role in driving the success of Global Transaction Banking's strategic objectives by identifying and developing transformational opportunities while ensuring compliance with all regulatory frameworks and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Promote a client-centric culture to strengthen client relationships and leverage broader Bank resources and expertise.
  2. Oversee transformational initiatives and maintain executive-level reporting to facilitate informed decision-making.
  3. Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan, define, document, and manage implementation timelines and activities.
  4. Responsible for developing business cases and tracking project and financial statuses for various reviews, working closely with stakeholders and finance teams.
  5. Manage the integrated project plan, status updates, and risk management processes, ensuring effective communication with leadership.
  6. Establish systems to monitor progress and key performance indicators to ensure ongoing compliance with operational models.
  7. Incorporate the Bank's risk appetite and culture into daily operations and decision-making.
  8. Create a high-performance environment that emphasizes effective operations while ensuring adherence to business controls related to operational, regulatory, and conduct risks.
  9. Develop a people strategy that attracts, retains, and nurtures talent within an inclusive work environment.
  10. Foster a culture of high performance and inclusivity within the team.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business or project management within the financial services industry.
  2. Fluency in both English and Spanish.
  3. Strong understanding of Project Management principles and agile methodologies.
  4. Self-motivated with a capacity for learning and adapting to new processes.
  5. Exceptional organizational, relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Results-driven with proven ability to influence strategy and collaborate across teams.
  7. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and high-pressure environments with shifting deadlines.
  8. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management.
  9. Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  10. Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
