Role Overview
The Senior Manager, PMO and Strategic Initiatives plays a pivotal role in driving the success of Global Transaction Banking's strategic objectives by identifying and developing transformational opportunities while ensuring compliance with all regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a client-centric culture to strengthen client relationships and leverage broader Bank resources and expertise.
- Oversee transformational initiatives and maintain executive-level reporting to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan, define, document, and manage implementation timelines and activities.
- Responsible for developing business cases and tracking project and financial statuses for various reviews, working closely with stakeholders and finance teams.
- Manage the integrated project plan, status updates, and risk management processes, ensuring effective communication with leadership.
- Establish systems to monitor progress and key performance indicators to ensure ongoing compliance with operational models.
- Incorporate the Bank's risk appetite and culture into daily operations and decision-making.
- Create a high-performance environment that emphasizes effective operations while ensuring adherence to business controls related to operational, regulatory, and conduct risks.
- Develop a people strategy that attracts, retains, and nurtures talent within an inclusive work environment.
- Foster a culture of high performance and inclusivity within the team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business or project management within the financial services industry.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Strong understanding of Project Management principles and agile methodologies.
- Self-motivated with a capacity for learning and adapting to new processes.
- Exceptional organizational, relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Results-driven with proven ability to influence strategy and collaborate across teams.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and high-pressure environments with shifting deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
